As a former professional dancer, I discovered Pilates early in my training and quickly fell in love with the mental and physical benefits it offers. After retiring from my dance career, I was inspired to deepen my knowledge and earned my Mat Pilates certification with Body Control Pilates, one of the world's leading education providers for safe and effective Pilates teaching. I also trained in Barre with world-renowned instructor Tracey Mallet — a dynamic method that blends the core principles of Pilates with the strength and stamina of ballet.
Dance has always given me a deep appreciation for how movement can transform the body and mind. After stepping away from the stage, I was eager to find something that offered the same strength, grace, and joy — and that's exactly what I found in Pilates and Barre. These classes not only strengthen and sculpt the body but also improve flexibility, posture, and overall well-being. They're true feel-good workouts that leave you energized and empowered.

About Alicia
My love for movement began early in life, with over 30 years of training in dance styles such as ballet, jazz, and tap. I later spent 10 years professionally teaching children the importance of health, fitness, and the joy of movement.
After years of managing low-level back pain, I discovered Pilates — and it completely transformed my body and my approach to exercise. This experience inspired me to deepen my knowledge by training with Body Control Pilates, one of the world's leading education providers for safe and effective Pilates teaching. Their rigorous, internationally respected program equipped me with a deep understanding of how to build strength, improve flexibility, and support the body through mindful movement.
Alongside my Pilates training, I also trained in Barre with world-renowned instructor Tracey Mallett. Barre is an incredibly uplifting workout that blends the grace of ballet with the core-strengthening principles of Pilates, offering a fun and dynamic way to move.
Fitness has always been a passion, but the combination of Barre and Pilates has taken it to a whole new level. I can honestly say I’ve never felt stronger, both physically and mentally. For me, it's about more than just physical appearance — it’s about cultivating real strength, body awareness, and the ability to move through life feeling empowered and resilient.
